About Adult Ministry Groups
At Bible Pres we offer opportunities for our members to practice living lives of community and disciple-making through various groups and classes. We believe a fully devoted follower of Christ should have the gospel spoken into their personal lives and should be speaking the gospel into the lives of others. This is hard to do effectively in the midst of a crowd during the Sunday worship service. That is why we strongly encourage everyone to join a smaller, more intimate group. Some examples are listed below.
We have classes for adults that meet at 9:15 am each Sunday morning, most often in the lower level of our facility. Some classes work their way through a Bible study curriculum, and others study books of the Bible or other biblically-related topics in a casual, discussion-based format. For more information about our current classes meeting on Sunday morning, please contact Bruce Iattoni or Roy Brandell, two of our elders. You can find contact information for Bruce and Roy here.
A small group is less like a class and more like a circle of friends helping one another learn to do gospel life together. An ideal small group will consist of 3-8 people. Groups can be men/women, coed, married couples, etc. They can meet in homes, at church, or public places. Some base their discussions on the weekly sermon, a book of the Bible, or another Christ-centered book. We are hoping to see our groups continue to grow. For more information about our current small groups or to start one, contact Karen.
The Women's Ministry at BPC is for all women - no matter your age, background or life stage. We want to meet ladies right where they are and come along side them - encouraging, supporting, praying and equipping them in their journey with God. We seek to nurture Christ-centered, gospel-hopeful relationships with each other through women's small groups, Bible studies, fellowship gatherings, retreats, and prayer partnerships. For more information about connecting with our ministry to women, contact Jenni.
At BPC we seek to come alongside guys, eager to help each other become biblically faithful men who reject passivity, accept responsibility, love tenderly, lead courageously and invest in eternity. We invite men to become a regular part of our Monday night men's discipleship gathering, a men's small group, form a prayer partnership with another guy, or join us at the annual No Regrets conference and our presbytery men's retreat. To find out more about our ministry to men, contact Bruce.
