Small Group Seminar
We weren’t meant to do life alone.
Attending Sunday morning worship, learning in Sunday School, and serving in a ministry are all great things, but a small group is different – in a good way.
A small group is all about building trusting relationships with a handful of couples/singles/families from church who meet together regularly (usually in a home and at least twice a month) to mutually apply the truths of Scripture recently heard through a sermon or Bible study. The goal of a small group gathering isn’t merely knowledge acquisition but deep, heart transformation. It’s about helping one another gain a deeper appreciation for the gospel and letting it change us.
Some other things that happen at small group gatherings: prayer, support, listening, admitting our struggles, asking for help, spiritual mentoring, fun, and service projects.
