Ways for students to get involved at Bible Pres
About our ministry to students
Our mission in student ministry is the same as it is church-wide: to make fully devoted followers of Christ who love God and others. We do this through gospel-centered teaching, community, disciple-making and service. Students who realize their need for the gospel, their power to live by the gospel, and their passion to share the gospel is our goal. To learn more about our ministry to students, you can contact Kesh Pillai here.
C.H.A.O.S Youth Ministry
Christians Helping Along Other Sinners is our mid-week ministry to 7th-12th graders. Teens from our church as well as our community gather every Wednesday evening to study Scripture, nurture healthy relationships, serve needy folks in our community, and have a lot of fun together. Our Middle School and High School youth often play games cooperatively but then meet separately for study and discipleship. We also experience lock-ins, events at Christian camps, and take a group of High Schoolers on a major mission trip somewhere in the US during the month of June. C.H.A.O.S. is led by Kesh Pillai and a team of dedicated, screened, adult volunteers.
S.L.A.V.E.
Sinners Living A Vindicated Existence is a gathering of older high school and college age young men who connect on most Sunday evenings for in-depth Bible study and discipleship. They enjoy thinking and praying through how the gospel impacts real life as a young man in today's world. They also have a lot of fun playing extreme games together, and they've been known to down hundreds of Buffalo wings at Richard's Supper Club.
For young ladies only
The young women in our youth ministry often meet for discipleship Bible studies, service projects, and retreats where they gain a sense of God's design for their lives as women of grace and truth. For more information about what's currently happening with our ministry to young women, please contact either Jenni or Paulette.
Sunday morning youth class
Our middle and high school students meet at 9:15 am to study the Bible, theology, and understand more deeply how to apply it to their lives in a relaxed, discussion-based format.
